About Kave Health

It would be easy to list ten thousand programs. It would also be useless: a person with a $9,000 emergency-room bill does not need a longer list, they need to know which three things to do and in what order. Kave’s value is screening, verification, explanation, and matching — not volume. Every listing has to earn its place against the published criteria, and Kave removes programs that close rather than leaving dead links behind.

Kave takes no money from the organisations it lists. No fees, no commissions, no referral revenue, no affiliate links. The ranking code has no input that could represent a commercial relationship, so this is enforced by the system rather than promised by a policy page. The independence policy sets out exactly what that means and how to check it.

There are no accounts. The guided questions are answered in your browser and passed to the results page in the address bar; they are not stored, not logged against you, and not sold. Kave never asks for a Social Security number, a date of birth, an insurance member ID, a hospital account number, or a diagnosis, and it is designed so that no protected health information ever reaches it. Programs change their rules and their funding without warning, and some of what is published here will go out of date between reviews. If you find something wrong, tell Kave. Reports go into the same review queue as Kave’s own automated checks, and a person confirms the change against the official source before anything is published.
